Local Support for Clients and Caregivers
Adult day care centers are available to provide respite to caregivers and also to give loved ones, who need constant supervision, a safe and stimulating environment during the daytime. There are four available day care centers in our area:

Fletcher United Methodist Church offers a sitting service, at 11:00 on Sundays, for those with Alzheimer's disease. This program is geared to help those affected with the condition so caregivers can attend church without worrying about their loved ones. If interested, please contact Ed Hillman at 684-7155.

(NEW) Early Stage Memory Loss Support Group
A six week seminar style series of meetings for persons recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia and their families and friends.
