Assistive Technology: Easing your Caregiver Journey
September 17, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
“Assistive Technology: Easing your Caregiver Journey” a discussion led by Cameron Kempson, SimplyHome Director of Education, and Emily Danciu Grosso, SimplyHome Sales and Marketing Director.
When a family is impacted by dementia, priorities change for end of life care, not only for that individual but for caregivers and loved ones as well. With the desire to preserve dignity and age in place longer, caregivers are searching for solutions that can provide support and respite for family members and themselves. From simple to sophisticated, today’s smart home technology offers affordable solutions that preserve dignity and safety for loved ones and those providing care. This presentation will offer an overview of current technologies on the market as well as answer questions about solutions designed for those seeking respite or wanting to age in place.
This course will be presented as a live online broadcast through Zoom on September 17 from 2-3:30 pm and is free and open to the public.
